24th Annual Flight For Life® Colorado Golf Classic at Sanctuary

Founded in 1972 with a single Alouette helicopter, Flight For Life Colorado was the nation’s first civilian, hospital-based, air ambulance program. Serving a nine-state region, Flight For Life serves the most critically ill and injured patients, regardless of their ability to pay. In 50 years of continuous service, Flight For Life has transported and provided compassionate, lifesaving care to more than 150,000 patients.

Weather in Colorado can be unpredictable, with frequent changes that can make it difficult for helicopters to fly. Flight For Life is often called to respond to areas where weather information is nonexistent. While larger airports typically have robust weather reporting, there is a lack of reliable information for the paths flown by our helicopters, especially in mountainous and sparsely populated areas. Responding to emergencies with incomplete or absent weather data can increase response times, putting our patients, and our crew, at risk.

 

Your sponsorship and donations will be used to place weather stations around the state, helping to improve our response times and safety for those we serve.

• 9 a.m. - Registration and Practice Facilities Open
• 9:30 a.m. - Brunch Service Begins
• 10:30 a.m. - Registration Closes
• 10:45 a.m. - Welcome, Rules & Mulligan Golf Ball Drop
• 11 a.m. - Shotgun Start
• 4:30 p.m. - Dinner and Awards Reception
• 5 p.m. - Program
• 6 p.m. - Adjourn
